Yes, I know Mile #1 has been claimed...But you see, my AWESOME Aunt Jackie  let me know today that she wants to sponsor my ENTIRE swim portion!!!  How could I tell her 'no'??  I know, right!  So I made an executive decision to give the entier swim to my aunt for her donation, and I just hoped Christie wouldn't mind co-sponsoring Mile #1 with the Ward family...right Christie?? :-)

My mom has one brother and three sisters. Jackie is one part of the youngest twin sisters.  Jackie and her family live in Huntsville, TX and have always been an amazing part of the wonderful support system that is the Akins family.  Really, I can't say enough about them.  The Ward family is such a fun, giving, caring, joyful, inspiring, and an uplifting group to be around - all of them!!  I just love them to pieces and wish we could see them more and more! 

So a special thank you to my aunt and uncle, Jackie and David, their daughters and my cousins Scottie and Madison.  My swim wouldn't be the same without your help!  Love you more!!
